The company is a leader in providing ABM network management and transaction processing services for the banking industry.

This position is responsible for various aspects of the company's financial transaction processing service delivery.   This involves project co-ordination, testing, certification and implementation of new financial institution clients; day-to-day reporting and settlement; process documentation and ensuring customer needs are met within the production environment. 

 
The successful candidate is experienced with quality assurance practices, has strong interpersonal skills and is detail oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Client certifications and implementations
  • Operation of the Mosaic Postilion EFT platform
  • Settlement & reporting (planning, testing, documentation, support, etc.)
  • Client support
  • Testing & certification processes (planning, testing, documentation, etc.)
  • Process documentation
  • Project Management
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education

  • An IT related degree, diploma; or industry related experience required,  preferably in a financial services environment. 

 Experience
            1-1/2 to 2 years or more of:

  • Financial Services Industry; mission critical systems preferred
  • Quality Assurance
  • Planning
  • Certifications
  • Conversions / Migrations, Implementations
  • Client Support
  • Training - clients and internal staff
  • Documentation - requirements, processes, procedures, and end-user materials
  • Settlement & Reporting systems
  • Quality Assurance Practices & Principles

ATM Operations Technical Specialist (Bank Machines) 

ATM Operations Technical Specialist - fulltime
Information Technology - System Support Area

The candidate will provide specialized technical knowledge and support within the Operations group for the company's ATM products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a technical resource responsible to obtain internal or external support in an appropriate and effectively structured manner.

  •  Plan and deliver the post-certification testing, staff training, documentation and technical deployment planning for all new ATM hardware and software roll-outs.Be the Subject Matter Expert for all company certified ATM software, hardware and communications 

  • Write documentation for new products certified by the IT department,  for the Technical Services and Network Operations groups

  • Provide Second Level Support to ATM technicians

  • Troubleshoot complex ATM issues, coordinating with internal and external resources, as required
  • Perform complete post-mortem analyses of ongoing issues with an action plan for improved handling in the future
  • Perform regular statistical analyses 

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • 2+ to 5 years of experience in closely related area.
  • Some College

Occasional travel is required.

Secure Connectivity Specialist

Toronto

Occasional travel is required.

Duties:
  • Configure and provide customer support for: Juniper/NetScreen, Sonicwall (firewall, VPN and routing), Netopia, D-link           
  • Configure and customer support for Cisco enterprise routers and switches  
  • Manage contact with various resellers and customers  
  • Provide overflow support for other service delivery areas as needed  
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery, and effective implementation of new products and services
  • Handle very technical issues with often frustrated customers

 

Skills & Experience Required

 

 

 

  Solid knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPN technology  

  • Solid knowledge of DSL.   
  • Solid experience with the above named devices; minimum 5 years experience in an Internet or IT business; experience with an ISP an asset  
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills  
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Internet and networking products and services  
  • CCNA or equivalent experience
  • Technical degree or diploma is an asset.

     Ideally, you have worked for Telus or Bell, or similar very large scale telecommunications firm in a network support capacity; but all similar, related experience with other such large employers is respected and will be considered.
